blogging ? hmmmm :-) YES

I really love blogging ! I feel like even though no one reads mine I can express myself and talk about my life and my opinions on things that I would never pay attention to unless Karla assigned it, for instance I didn't know that over 40,000 laws were passed in 2012 ! and now I do because Karla told us :-) I really do like being able to blog for credit for a few reasons ! (1. if you are bored and you have no I.S. to do just go ask Karla for some blogging stuff and make a post ! (2. it's really easy credit ! and I always have something to say since I talk ALL the time so I have lots to write (3. when I'm bored where ever there is a computer I can blog (4. I really like being able to do it because I can practice writing so when the time comes to write a grad doc I will be good at writing and rambling (I'm not sure if rambling is the right word for that though LOL) KARLA what do you mean a theme ? I think you mean you want me to say something like this : I really love summer, traveling, country music, events, pick up trucks, sexy cars, outdoors and my friends so if I could I would write a lot about those types of things, but I would want to keep my ideas open and write about things I enjoy :) I learned : screen shots, how to write a blog, how to make a blog, make blog friends and make my blog page pretty ! and most important of all how to actually blog and write ! PPPFFFFFFFTTT I know I could ! if I had access on the daily I could no problem and probably talk about the business, how it's doing, specials, events and the employees. I feel from blogging I can appropriately express myself and I have learned new things. PLEASE KARLA KEEP BLOGGING IT'S FABUOUS !

New Laws of 2012

About 40,000 state laws taking effect at the start of the new year will change rules about  getting abortions in New Hampshire, learning about gays and lesbians in California, getting jobs in Alabama and even driving golf carts in Georgia.Social Security increase amounting to $450 a year for the average recipients and stiff fines up to $2,700 per offense for truckers and bus drivers caught using hand-held cellphones while driving.
Many laws reflect the nation's concerns over immigration, the cost of government and the best way to protect and benefit young people, including regulations on sports concussions. Eight states will raise the minimum wage. They include Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Colorado, Ohio, Vermont and Florida. San Francisco will become the first city to raise its minimum wage above $10 per hour. The new $10.24 minimum is nearly $3 above the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, set in 2009. Supporters said they wanted to deter illegal immigrants from coming to Georgia by making it tougher for them to work. Critics said that changes to immigration law should come at the federal level and that portions of the law already in effect are already hurting Georgia. "It is destroying Georgia's economy and it is destroying the fabric of our social network in South Georgia," Paul Bridges, mayor of the onion-farming town of Uvalda, said in November. He is part of a lawsuit challenging the new law.

I think some of the laws such as the raising of minimum wage is great for people in Georgia, but this is seriously seriously affecting the business owners and the economy is starting to fallout and I am completely in agreement wit Paul Bridges and I hope he can get that changed. Otherwise all the laws that I have read are a bit ridiculous, over the top, and unnecessary.

St. Croix Valley ALC

I've been going to the ALC now for a while, I believe I transferred over the second semester of my junior year so that would make it over one whole year I have been going to school here. I really do like it and I love how chill it is and how cool the teachers are and since it's smaller I get a lot more individual attention. I think the school is helping me, but it would be better if I was told to do things and have due dates and actually homework from all my teachers so I had more opportunities for hours. I really don't like that school is only three hours long because I need so much more school than just that and I really do not like that I'm not trusted by the staff along with the rest of the kids and I can't even sit in  a classroom waiting for my class to start. This school though really hasn't taught me too much I definitely would be learning more at the SAHS because the teaching style is more appropriate for me, but I screwed myself over and didn't do my work and I got thrown into the ALC, that isn't a bad thing, but of I could do it all over I'd be at the SAHS and I would have done my work. I don't think I have ever pushed myself at the ALC, but I most definitely should. I think if I had someone really pushing me to do work and was constantly assigning me to do things I would do much better because I don't usually do anything until I'm told to do it, I'm not necessarily a self starter.
